Thank you for visiting
my campaign website and I encourage you to vote
on November 2nd. I’m
running for re-election to represent the Bayside
borough on City Council, but ALL citizens throughout
Virginia Beach vote in this race. Whether you
live in Kempsville, Lynnhaven, Bayside or the
Beach, I
hope you’ll vote for me, Louis Jones, to continue
to represent you.
I currently serve as Vice-Mayor,
as selected by my fellow members of City Council,
and that is an
honor I take very seriously. I’ve worked hard
to balance our budget in these hard, economic
times
and we’ve done so by trimming spending and not
by raising taxes.

In fact, I’ve voted to lower real estate tax rates
by 27% while keeping our
commitments to education, public safety and creating
a pro-business
environment that creates jobs.
